Did you know: The Portuguese kidnapped over 5 million Africans into Brazil? More than the other bloodthirsty exploiters of Europe: #France, #Spain, #England, the Netherlands, and the plantation owners of the U.S. Most of our ancestors didn’t make it to the shores of Brazil due to the fact that they died or were murdered – over 10 million died on the ships (estimated 60 million died in the Atlantic Slave Trade in total). The horrendous conditions of the ships made life impossible. Only God knows how the rest made it alive, even though they were in a coma spiritually. The Devils of slavery robbed my ancestors of everything.

The close proximity of Brazil and Africa makes perfect sense on why the Portuguese transported so many Africans; it took roughly 2 to 3 weeks, in comparison to Africans kidnapped to the U.S. (colonies) in which took 2 to 3 months. The Warrior Queen Nzinga of Angola (Her majesty is featured in my book – “7 Types of Queens, Kings Desire”) battled the Portuguese for 40 years to fight against the enslavement of her people. She never gave up! We shouldn’t either when it comes to the love & liberation of our people.

In 1443 they were able to trade one horse for 25-30 slaves, by 1500 price of slaves rose to match the increased demand, one horse traded for 6 to 8 slaves. The abolition of slavery in Brazil ended in 1888.



Interestingly there are more black folks in Brazil than any other country in the world outside of Africa. The appalling discrimination of the #BlackBrazilian population still goes on today, just like in America, Egypt, and Haiti. Most of the people in the South American country prefer not talk about slavery but can’t deny it with 51% of the population having beautiful #melaninated skin. Power To The People!
